now you're staring at a report full of numbers, ranges, organisms, or markers, and wondering what any of it actually means for you.
That's where this visit comes in. Making Sense of Your Labs is a video visit dedicated to walking through your results together, in plain language, with the clinician who curated the panels in this lab shop. It's an educational session, not a treatment plan. The goal is for you to leave understanding what your results show, what they don't, and what next steps make sense to consider.
This visit is available to residents of Virginia, Maryland, DC, and Delaware only.
Anyone in VA, MD, DC, DE, who has run labs through the Discreet Health lab shop and would like help understanding what the results mean.
The visit is conducted via video for up to 30 minutes.
Before the visit, please make sure your lab results are accessible (either uploaded through your patient portal or available to share on screen during the call).
During the visit, we'll walk through your results together, marker by marker or section by section depending on the panel. Each finding will be explained in plain language, what's worth paying attention to, and how the results fit together as a picture. You'll have time to ask questions throughout.
After the visit, you'll receive a written follow-up email summarizing what was discussed, so you have something to refer back to and share with other clinicians if you'd like
This visit is educational. It's designed to help you understand what your lab results show and what they don't, so you can make informed decisions about your next steps with the support of a knowledgeable clinician.
This visit is not a treatment plan, a prescription consultation, or ongoing medical care. We won't be diagnosing conditions, recommending specific medications or supplements, or developing a personalized care plan during this session.
If your results suggest you would benefit from clinical care beyond education, we can talk about that during the visit, and you'll have the option of enrolling in our clinical programs (the Clarity Assessment or Balanced Reset). If you do enroll within 30 days, the full $200 fee for this visit is credited toward the Clarity Assessment program.
The visit is $200, paid the day of the visit.
If you choose to enroll in our Clarity Assessment within 30 days of your Making Sense of Your Labs visit, the full $200 is credited toward the cost of the program. This means you can use this visit as a low-commitment way to get clarity on your labs first, with no financial penalty if you decide to continue care with us.
The credit applies only to the Clarity Assessment and only if enrollment happens within 30 days of the visit. After 30 days, the credit expires.
